Hi, I’m Lindsey Fontaine – a postpartum doula and founder of Wild Lavender Doula Care. After the birth of my daughter in the Spring of 2018, I experienced a major shift in perspective and very quickly realized that supporting families as they welcome their own children into the world was the calling I had been waiting to present itself.
I completed my DONA International Postpartum Doula training in April 2019 and am currently working through the full certification process. What that means for the families I support is that I’ve had training from a credible doula network, have received positive evaluations from families and recommendations from medical care providers, maintain a comprehensive list of local resources, and participate in continuing education courses.
When I’m not supporting families, you can find me exploring the Midwest with my family from our pop-up camper, checking out local coffee shops, working on one of the many craft projects I seem to have going at once, or cozied up on my couch reading a book in my sweatpants.
My goal is to help new families gain confidence and be someone you can always turn to; enabling the entire family unit to thrive as a whole.
